Julie Hansen enjoys collaborating with clients to create spaces that are not only reflections of who they are, but practical environments that will serve their needs well into the future. Her rich imagination is tempered with a practical side that ensures the client not only gets the rooms of their dreams, but value as well.
In addition, Julie has over 20 years of experience in residential new construction and remodeling as partner in John Hansen Company, Inc. This experience allows her to foresee both possibilities and limitations when designing spaces for her clients, and gives her insider knowledge when recommending building and architectural specialists. Her established relationships with respected design tradespeople also enables clients access to the best in local upholstery, custom furniture, lighting and interior sewing talent.
After 20 years of behind the scenes work in design for the John Hansen Company, along with work in the political arena, Julie decided to make design her official career and completed an A.A.S. degree in Interior Design from Santa Fe Community College in 2007. Since then, her accurate budget forecasting, timely completion of jobs and unfailing honesty have earned praise from clients and colleagues alike.
Julie is an Allied Member, ASID, and is currently pursuing professional licensure. She gives back to the community, routinely donating services to non-profits around the city.
